From the gallery that divides the Court of the Grated Window (Patio de la Reja) and the Court of Lindaraja (Patio de Lindaraja) there is access to the ground floor of Comares Baths (Baño de Comares). The original entrance, however, was located higher, at the level of the Court of the Myrtles (Patio de los Arrayanes) connecting it to the Hall of the Beds.

The function of this space in Comares Baths is similar to that of the apoditerium in the Roman baths. It was a place for relaxation and body care before taking the bath, illuminated with a top lantern around which the cloakrooms distributed on the upper floor. The lively colours of the hall are not the original ones but belong to a restoration work performed in the second half of the 19th century.

Los espectaculares fondos marinos de nuestro planeta llenan el Bosque de la Alhambra, gracias a la ya tradicional exposición de fotografía que cada año ambienta durante unos meses su Paseo Central.

Quienes paseen por el Bosque este otoño podrán contemplar algunas de las fotografías más sorprendentes del 'Mundo Submarino', en esta exposición patrocinada por Fundación AXA y realizada por Lunwerg. La muestra reúne 68 impactantes imágenes de fotógrafos nacionales e internacionales.

Esta muestra al aire libre permite hacer un viaje a las profundidades marinas, entre fotografías de gran formato nos envuelven y nos acercan a la biodiversidad que esconden nuestros océanos: en ellas podremos ver las diferentes especies que habitan cada uno de los océanos del planeta, su portentosa capacidad para adaptarse al medio y el funcionamiento de los fondos marinos como ecosistema fundamental.
